Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of black cherry, blackberry and black currant followed by aromas of dried violet, plum, blueberry, vanilla, tobacco, cocoa, mace, graphite and eucalyptus. On the palate the tannins pronounced but they are balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. Persistent finish with flavors of blackberry, black cherry and black currant.
Aging: 14 months in barrique.
Winemaking: Hand picked in “cassette” (small wood boxes)
Food Pairing : Red meats, game and matured cheeses.
